Paigelyn88 Posted June 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2017 Can you still bring a bottle of wine on board if sailing out of galveston? It is my understanding that cheers doesn't start until day 2. Organized Chaos Posted June 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 8, 2017 Can you still bring a bottle of wine on board if sailing out of galveston? It is my understanding that cheers doesn't start until day 2. Sent from my SM-T230NU using Forums mobile app The day-2 Cheers rule for Galveston & New York has to do with their own respective laws regarding the sale of alcohol. So bringing on your own isn't affected. Enjoy!
OKIEFROMTULSA Posted June 9, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2017 I was on the Freedom out of Galveston in February. We each carried on a bottle of wine, no questions asked!

Cruise, J.D. Posted June 9, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 9, 2017 One bottler per adult, maximum of 2 bottles per room No, there is no max per room. Bringing Liquor and Beverages Onboard - Embarkation Guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages onboard that are packaged in bottles. A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person. Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board with the following exception - At the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day only, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring one 750 ml bottle of sealed/unopened wine or champagne per person in their carry-on luggage. All liquor, beer, other forms of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages outside of this exception are strictly prohibited in both carry-on and checked luggage and such items will be confiscated and discarded and no compensation will be provided. A $15 USD corkage fee, per 750 ml bottle, will be charged should guests wish to consume their wine or champagne in the main dining room, steakhouse or bar. A corkage fee is a charge exacted at a restaurant for every bottle served that was not bought on the premises. https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2633/kw/liquor
rufflesmom Posted June 9, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 9, 2017 Last October I sailed out of Galveston with 2 sisters and a niece, all in one cabin. We each had a bottle of wine and there was no problem.
