posmanti Posted November 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 27, 2005 I see in the documents that cabin decorations (i.e. "Happy Birthday"/"Happy Anniversary") are $30. It's unclear whether they do the decorating for you. And, if so, is it worth it? For $5 I can buy my own stuff, get on board early, and decorate our special person's cabin. What would you do? Thoughts? Thanks!!!
bug18 Posted November 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2005 I had our cabin decorated for my nieces 16th birthday. Getting on the ship, walking into the cabin and seeing her face when she saw it all decorated was worth it to me. We were very happy with the decorations. goodml Posted November 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2005 I had it done for my husbands birthday on the Jewel last year. It was really fun to arrive at the cabin and see it decorated. There was a sign and some small curly streamers on the door and a bunch of streamers criss crossing the ceiling over the bed. Then there was a larger decoration hanging on the drapery rod over the balcony door and a card with the message we had typed online. It was good. Definitely could be done cheaper yourself but we enjoyed it.
sas80 Posted November 27, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2005 I'm cheap! $5 at Wal-Mart and then decorate on my own!!! OR $5 at Wal-Mart and recruit room steward for a $10 tip to decorate at a time when I make sure S.O. will be busy and away from the room!
