I am sailing on Oceania to Tahiti next Feb. I want to schedule my excursions myself. Does anyone have a good agent assist me in all ports of call? I don't speak French so navigating the web sites is proving difficult.:cool:

Yes and you can check the destination forum for information on the islands. The French Polynesian islands are small and have limited availability of excursions.

When I went on all the islands except the Society Islands, Tahiti and Bora Bora, I used Oceania because the islands are so small, I felt Oceania would have most or all of the services tied up.

Don't know what islands you are doing but here are a few recommendations. We did all outside tours but for many, you must gather a group from your roll call to get the booking. Also, you do not indicate your interest. We did mostly snorkeling excursions.

 

Bora Bora - Reef Discovery - you do not need a group. Excellent snorkeling excursions. We did 2 - one 4 hour tour per day

Fakarava - Tour with Ato Lissant with Fakarava Excursions - highly recommend the all day excursion with fish grilled on the beach for lunch. Need a group of 12

Moorea - lots of options. We did Moorea Miti Tours - loved it and did not need a group.

Huahine - we did a sailing excursion with a snorkel stop. Minimum 4 - maximum 10 Tahiti Sailing Charter

Raiatea - L'excursion Bleu - requires a minimum - we got a tour without shopping stops.

Rangiroa - We used Yaka Plongee.

 

We were pleased with our choices and are returning in 2019. There is an active Roll Call for a March trip. They are booking some excursions so you might want to check them out.
