Doughty3 Posted June 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2017 We're on the late Thomas Cook flight (19:15) back to Gatwick and want to plan our last day in Malta. Has anyone any idea what time we will disembark for the airport? Will it be safe to plan a morning activity and a late lunch back on Oceana? Any advice most welcome. Doughty3 Posted June 28, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Could anyone give me a rough idea of how many hours before flight departure back to the UK Oceana passengers are taken to the airport in Malta? Thank you.
Spearsy77 Posted June 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Also on Oceana, leaving ship 3rd August.. Our flight back to Gatwick 21.05 - cruised many times from and to Southampton so know the drill but this is new to us! Hopefully won't get turfed out of cabin by 8.00 a.m? Notice there is a trip which can be booked to fill up some time but if we don't want to do that how long can we stay on ship?
CCFC Posted June 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2017 I'm also on the 3rd August sailing. If Britannia is anything to go by, the evening flight (6pm) got us off the ship at 2:30 and to the airport. We had to be out the cabin by 8am but you could leave bags in the theatre so you could go for a wander. I suspect it will be a similar experience. The next lot of passengers will be turning up just after midday so they need the cabins, it might be possible to rent a day cabin though. There is the Farewell to Malta trip which takes you off earlier and takes you straight to the airport after.
