Crusin5252 Posted June 27, 2017 #26 Share Posted June 27, 2017 If Fare Viewer shows your cabin price has gone down only a small amount ($20 or less), do a mock booking before submitting the form. Sometimes port fees have went up more than the price has went down. If you submit the form you pay whatever port fees are listed at that time. One time the increase in fees was more than the price drop for us and we lost a few dollars.
Frank12 Posted June 27, 2017 #27 Share Posted June 27, 2017 My fare went UP. In fact, it's been going up consistently. Us too!
Sizzlechest Posted June 27, 2017 #28 Share Posted June 27, 2017 Us too! I should say that the most expensive suites went down, but almost everything else went up this time. The Havana Cabanas have been going up each price change date.

winddawn Posted June 27, 2017 #32 Share Posted June 27, 2017 Just remember that Fare Viewer won't show any fare code not available to the general public, like casino rate, etc. You have to be logged in under your account to see any fare specific to your VIFP number. Great advise, Lisa. I have an existing booking for a New Year's cruise, and recently received a premier casino offer for the same ship/sailing. I price matched to the premier offer and saved a couple hundred dollars on the fare, plus I'll get $400 casino cash onboard. I would not have seen that price drop if I hadn't checked my VIFP offers after signing in on Carnival's website. Those VIFP offers do not show in fare viewer. Nadersmom Posted June 27, 2017 #33 Share Posted June 27, 2017 My fare went UP. In fact, it's been going up consistently. Mine too. We booked early saver in beginning of the year and cruise the end of July. I check every day and it's only gone up and up and up I think the cheapest it's gone down to since we booked is still at least $120 more per person than we paid. Was really hoping for some OBC but at the same time I'm thrilled that it appears we got a really good rate when we booked
