This was the highlight of our trip! We booked Wet & Wild Cavetubing over the internet and can reach them directly at www.belizeshoretours.com or cavetubing@yahoo.com. We saved about $30 per person from the cruise price.

The experience was great from the begining. Marvin met us at the Dock as we got off the boat, directed us and even suggested the best areas to shop while in port. As we waited for another group, he came looking for us when we were ready to go. From there Charlie, our tour guide, directed us into the air conditioned van for the 45 min drive to the caves. What a funny guy. We arrived, bathrooms were clean for changing, and were recieved our tubes and head gear. The hike is a fun, challenging, yet not over exurting hike through the forest where Charlie pointed out several facts about nature and the habitat. *An added bonus for not booking through the cruise line was that we acually got to tube into 4 caves, wheras the cruise trip only went through 3. Tehn, for us excitement driven people we were able to jump into the river from a 10-12 cliff -WOW! Others that were not so inclined could take the easy way in with help of a short rope near the river bed. 1hr and 30 min of wet, exploritory, informational fun followed as we floated and paddled down the river. We had the choice to link up or float on our own, my group explored on their own, having fun paddling around one another, but being close enough to feel very safe. After we arrived at the bottom, we had a short walk where you might just have had the best lunch ever..bbq chicken, garlic bread, punch, salad, and desert. I'm not sure if i was just really hungry, but it was good!

They got us back to the port with time to spare, we shopped a little more and ended our day extremly happy. This again was by far the highlight of our trip and would highly recommend the excursion to anyone one of most any age.
