Quick Soda Package Question

Hi,

 

When you get the soda package - can you just get a soda in a regular cup from the bars - or do you have to have your souvenir cup with you?

You can get fountain soda at any bar. We never ever took our cups out of the room.

Great - thanks. My daughter wants the soda package, but doesn't want to have to carry the cup around all day.

You only need the cup to get soda out of the Coke Freestyle machines.

In the dining rooms or Windjammer, etc. you just show your room key/card that indicates that you have the soda pkg and you're good to go. Of course, the process could be a little different now than the last time we used it. It's been a few years since my hubby drank soda.

Freestyle machines are only on certain RCI ships, about half the fleet: Quantum Class, Oasis Class, Freedom, Adventure, Explorer, Jewel, Grandeur, Enchantment and Majesty. Not Liberty. Drinks are from the bars and restaurants only on ships without the Freestyle machines.

Hadn't realized Adventure has them. Good to know, as we will be aboard her next summer.
