Richjoxyz Posted July 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2017 What games does Koningsdam have? We assume blackjack for sure. How about Let It Ride, 3-Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold-em, etc?
kangforpres Posted July 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2017 I haven't been on the K-dam but just about every other HAL ship. You should find Craps, Roulette, Black Jack, Fun 21 Black Jack and 3 Card Poker. I don't recall seeing a Let it Ride or Caribbean Stud table on my last cruise in March on the Volendam. Although they use to carry both of those games in the past. I've asked the Casino staff about Ultimate Texas Hold-'em and the company who contacts with HAL to run their casino's does not have a license for it, but things change and maybe they will get it since it's becoming a popular table game in land based casinos. HAL is not a big gambling crowd cruise line which is nice in some ways because you can always get a seat at your favorite table they will sometimes even open a table for you if they have a dealer. Dealers and Casino Mangers have always been nice to me and if you build a report with them a casino manager will comp you a drink every now and then. For regular poker I'm sure the K-dam will have an automated poker pro table, all the newer bigger ships have them, the old R and S class still have a human dealer poker table. There is usually a poker tourney everyday early in the afternoon and sometimes a cash game at night. But there are usually never enough players to start a cash game at night. Have fun and good luck, remember to stay on your budget I always bring a cash gambling budget on board that way I don't have to charge the room account for gambling money. -Paul

I am not sure when or whom you asked, or what ship you were on, but I played Ultimate Texas Hold-'em on the Koningsdam on our January cruise. And, per an email that HAL sent me in March, Ultimate Texas Hold-'em will have been rolled out to these ships by June: Oosterdam N.Amsterdam Noordam Zuiderdam Westerdam
