Hi,

We are looking at Love Boat Express as a way to get from my parents in St. Pete area to the Coral. Where can I get more information about this service? Who do I contact about tickets? Any personal experience with using it?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Erin. What port are you looking to go to? The love boat express is a tour bus, like a greyhound. It is for Florida residents, going to Florida ports.

Hey Erin-

Not sure about the Love Boat Express, but Cruise Connection is a big operator in Florida that you might check out. I know I've seen them dropping off bus loads of passengers at the ports for quite some time

Here's a link to their site where I believe you can book online:

"Love Boat Express" is Princess Cruise's name for Cruise Connection. We booked ours through our TA and through Princess, but maybe you can also book separately through the Cruise Connection website.

Thanks for the input. I lost this thread in the board overhaul and just got a chance to use search to look for it. Hard to get info about Love Boat Express living in Kansas City area, I appreciate the help!

I would be interested in knowing what a travel agent charges for the LBE/CC round-trip from St. Pete to Fort Lauderdalel I ask this because I see a direct booking price on the Cruise Connection web site, and I am wondering if there is any savings--or a mark-up--when boooking through a travel agent? Anyone know? (We live in Sarasota and we will be taking the Cruise Connection bus, it is cheaper than car parking and gas!). Plus, for me, the cruise will start when I am on the bus, NOT when I have arrived at port. Yippeee!
