Room question on Empress

We've got a cabin on Deck 9 on the Empress, right under the Viking Crown Lounge. Anyone know if noise from very late music might be a problem?

If you have ear plugs I would take them, we were on the Empress in Sept. and was surprised to see the Viking Crown Lounge was actually on "deck" level. The other 2 RCL ships I was on the lounge was elevated above the pool deck. If I remember correctly this was also used as the disco later at night.

We were on Deck 9 also about 3/4 of the way back, I wore ear plugs at night & never heard a peep. My folks said they could hear the music from the Pool Deck the night they had the deck party.

We cruised on the aft, port side on the Empress and never heard a thing from above. Now our neighbor's to the left......... they were VERY loud lol.
