carnival magic spa rooms and waterworks

So we are booked on floor 12 and when I look at the diagram I see the elevators near room 12040 and then looks like there is a possible doorway that walks you right out to the waterworks slide is that correct?

 

If not what is the easiest way to get on those said water works?

 

Also is there a play area for people to play in at this area or is it strictly slides?

While I am on the subject once in the water area you can walk to the other side and get to the ropes and golf area correct?
