HAL Shore Excursion Question

Hello,

We'll be on the Zuiderdam in March, visiting HMC, St. Thomas, Tortola, and Freeport. (STILL not sure why we're going to Freeport rather than Nassau, but oh well...).

 

Anyway, ever since we booked over a month ago, the HAL website is not showing any shore excursions available for St. Thomas or Freeport, but is showing all of them for the other two ports. Will they open them up later? It *is* getting close to final payment date...or is it just a computer glitch that for some reason those two ports are not showing?

 

Hmm...oh well...I am just very curious as to what excursions HAL will be offering in Freeport, as it's not in their online shore excursion brochure that I downloaded. Does anyone know about this?

That's normal. It could be they don't have the shore excursions finalized for those ports yet. The same thing happened to me with my cruise in January. No excursions at all listed for Honolulu at first ... and we are there overnight! As sailing date got closer, excursions for that port appeared online. Also, some additional excursions for other ports appeared.

 

That is precisely why I wait until about a month out to book my shore excursions online. I'm cruising on January 6th and only booked my shore excursions this past weekend.
