Staying late in Cozumel, Open Seating Dinner

I just read that there is open seating dinner for the night we will be staying late in Cozumel. We will be staying until 10pm.

Can someone explain what open seating means? We signed up for your time dining, but we're open to anything! Just want to be prepared. :)

Open Seating is normally for the 'assigned' time dining. Those with Assigned Time dining will be informed which dining room to go to on the open seating night. They will then be placed at random tables. Possibly with others who arrive near the same time unless a specific size table is available. As I recall, there will be no difference for those with Your Time dining.
