Trod2018 Posted July 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2017 Hello, My fiance and I are getting married June 2018 on the victory. We're having a hard time deciding on if we should just keep the wedding package (which seems to keep adding up quickly for a very short ceremony) or just get married and change our package to the renewal of vows to save money. We chose to get married first day of cruise because we wanted to enjoy our port calls but I'm nervous that its going to be too chaotic and people aren't going to show up on time to board. We have about 100 guest sailing with us. Can anyone please give me some advice as to what your suggestions are. BTW this is my first ever cruise we're going on so I'm already nervous! Cruising Bride Posted July 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2017 If everyone is sailing with you.. why don't you do the wedding in a port? You can always do the wedding on whatever island or port you are in. There are a lot of reasonably priced packages available for cruisers not through the cruise line. Trod2018 Posted July 18, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted July 18, 2017 Can I do that even if I have a group booking set up for our wedding guest?
ChristinaMarie3632 Posted July 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2017 Can I do that even if I have a group booking set up for our wedding guest? My recommendation is the same.. I'm getting married in port in key west (we are also cruising on the Victory).. yes you can still do That if you did a group booking through carnival. Sent from my iPhone using Forums I also recommend getting married in port. I am sailing on the Carnival Victory in May 2018, we have 98 people booked for the cruise and are getting married in Cozumel Mexico. (we are signing the papers before sailing, so technically it will just be a symbolic ceremony and reception) But we have booked the wedding through Nachi-Cocom beach club and it is all so easy and affordable! I highly suggest you look into it!
