Tables for 2 in Mauretania or Caronia on QE2

Hi, just wanted to ask those of you who are experienced QE2 regulars, whether the Mauretania or Caronia has many tables for 2. My partner is one of those slightly unsociable types who really only wants to dine with me (I can't complain!) and having been on the QM2 twice we were happy on both occasions. Having said that I am sure I read somewhere that the QM2 has many more tables for 2 than the QE2. Any insight would be great!

I have so far only sailed in Mauretania on QE2, and when asking for table for 2 have got a 4 and a 2 - so 50% of the time - when you board, check your table assignment on the card in your cabin, visit the restaurant & explain to Maitre 'D if you've not got what you want - usually they try to help.
