harv1631 Posted July 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2017 I need help deciding which itinerary to choice for a southern Caribbean cruise. I did option 1 years ago and loved it. Option 2 is new to me. Not sure how Grenada & Dominica compare to St Lucia and St Kitts. Option 1 San Juan St Thomas St Lucia Barbados St Kitts St Maarten Option 2 San Juan St Croix St Maarten Dominica Barbados Grenada
Clarea Posted July 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2017 I would take option 2, because Grenada not as common on Royal itineraries.
JoyMouse Posted July 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2017 I did two last year and I recommend it as well. I like less commercialized/touristy islands with history and these delivered. Christiansted in St. Croix was worth the trip across the island as was the spice tour on Grenada. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Mcdonaldbam Posted July 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2017 I went on a Southern Caribbean cruise last March on the Serenade. Next March I am going back to the Southern Caribbean on the Grandeur. We will go to 2 of the same ports but 3 different ones. If you are wondering how the different ports will compare I think the only way to find out is to visit them. Nado44 Posted July 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Definitely Option #2. Granada and Dominica are beautiful islands and somewhat off the beaten path, i.e. much, much less touristy than STT or SXM.
