Drink pkg question?

 

To be fair, whilst the thread title is "drink package question", the original post did cover a few areas, including shore excursions, so we aren't as far off topic as a lot at the title would suggest.

We are not big drinkers, but chose the drink package & it worked out well for us. We found that we were able to try a few different cocktails that we had never had before & didn't incur a bill for something we weren't too fond of. We tried each drink of the day, something we haven't done in the past, in trying to spend money on other things than alcohol. We did the excursion package too, but found it not to be a good choice for us. In one port we picked an excursion & it was canceled last minute. We were unable to find another excursion we were interested in & lost our credit. And, on our private island port day, we chose to stay on the ship due to rain - so, another credit lost.

 

Your choice, of course, but if it is offered on our next cruise, we would select the drink package & probably the dining package. Regardless of your choice, hope you have a great time!
