Marigot Market days

Hi,

 

Someone mentioned in one of these threads that Marigot has a Wed & Sat outdoor market. Does anyone have any specifics on these? If it's similar to the ones in France it would be a worthwhile stop. My wife & I really enjoyed them on a trip to Provence in May. I would like my kids and parents, along on the cruise, to experience a french market.

 

If they had similar things like we got in france, it would be great -handmade soaps, maybe another purse(!), some sport/s shirts for the kids, fresh bread/food, etc. If anyone knows, please pass along some info so we can decide if we want to take some beach time out for the market (our ship will be there on a Wed).

where it the market in Marigot. What is the best way to get their if not taking a tour excursion?
