Platinum plus entertainment and dining priority

Has anyone used the Priority Restaurant & Entertainment Seating for Platinum Plus? How does it work? Much of an advantage?

I can report from the Spirit earlier this year.

 

In the theatre, the front two rows (or maybe just the front row, my memory is hazy) on one side were designated as for platinum plus. We couldn't actually use them as they also state that people under a certain age can't be in the front few rows and I was with my son.

 

I didn't notice anything official with regard to dining, but we did think that we were generally seated in better places than previously. We did notice on occasion that we were sent in a different direction than others arriving at the same time and had quite a few window tables etc.

We did walk-up @ both Cagney's and Lebistro.

 

Showed my P+ ship card and was promptly seated.

 

Don't know if the platinum + helped or not.:confused:
