Shore excursions cancellation

When I originally booked my cruise I did so with an outside company and then paid for a shore excursions on the Carnival site. I then later booked my parents on the same cruise but through Carnival but the excursion won't work for them as it was higher activity then they can handle so I cancelled it on carnivals website. I'm just wondering if anyone knows they will apply my refund back to my credit card or as OBC. Will I even get a refund? My cruise is in December. Thx.

If you paid with a credit card it will come back to your credit card. It takes about a week.
