P&O Britannia G630 Family Cabin - Please help!

Hi everyone

I wonder if anyone could help me. I booked a cruise on P&O Britannia with my family (2 adults and 2 children) next year on the select fare. I went for obstructed balcony view cabin G630 to keep the cost down and saw the view online which I am very happy with . Reading quite a few reviews saying that the the cabins on G deck in the back of the ship are very noisy, I am very very worried. The cabin is not directly over the night lounge but not far away.

Has anyone stayed in this cabin and would you recommend it with children. Do I need to bite the bullet and pay considerably more?

Many thanks in advance

As the cabin isn't directly over the lounge, you should be ok. It's over an anonymous white space that is on the same side of the ship (which should be alright) but you may like to try switching to cabins G629 or G631 if they're vacant to give you a bit of piece of mind. As you've booked the select fare this change will be free. :)
