Teeming River Cruises

Was not sure what to expect on a maiden voyage with Teeming River Cruises. This was our first river cruise and we took the "Royal Crown" from Amsterdam to Budapest. My wife, and I, had a wonderful experience. The ship was great, with the feel of an old ship, but, in excellent condition, with the wooden look, comfortable furniture, and beautiful rooms. The crew was very attentive. Throughout the trip, from the captain on down, the crew showed a lot of energy, always smiling and catering to every whim. The cruise director was very entertaining and helpful, she definitely knew her stuff. A river cruise down the Rhine and Danube is something not to be missed, you get to see small towns which normally would not be otherwise difficult to reach. The scenery was beautiful, with vineyards, church steeples, and especially castles. This was an extraordinary experience, and the Royal Crown crew made it special.
