Scenic Ruby 9/25

We will be doing the Gems of the Danube cruise with a 3 day extension in Prague. Getting excited and starting to pack. Our guys are fighting bringing sports coats. Anyone been on this cruise/boat recently? How prevelant were sports coats/suits in the evening? How about at the evening concert ?

Any other last minute tips?

Favorite excursions? Are there any you would suggest doing independently vs the boat tour?

We sailed in October last year. Noone wore sports jackets at dinner but a number of gents did pull them out for the concert. We also did the Prague extension. I booked to do the Lobowicz Palace but after hearing stories from our guide on the bus from Budapest to Prague, I changed my mind and did the communist walk. We saw how the locals live and she was brilliant. We got on it Amsterdam so I am not sure where you start from. From feedback from others, I don't think it matters which options you take, they are all excellent with very good and amusing local guides. Enjoy!
