Double check the cabin category. Ie 4b, 4c, 4d

And make sure you are seeing the total for BOTH people not p/p

The ONLY open staterooms I currently see avail. Is a Suite for $3000+ before port/txs

No the price was pp, but it was almost $100 over what I got when I did it by a fake booking. It would be much easier to do it in one step like fareviewer, but if I get a lower price by doing a fake booking, I'll do the extra steps! There appears to be plenty of cabins available according to the fake booking.

Than go ahead and try to submit it. Are you on the Carnival site doing your fake booking? It has to be a Carnival advertised price. I still don't see rooms for this sailing even with a fake booking. Worst that happens they reject it

No, I'm saying that the fareviewer price was above the price we got and that I get with a fake booking. I like my price better. My point was that the fareviewer was not giving the lowest price.

Then submit the fake booking screen shot? As long as it is a Carnival advertised price you can price match to it as long as it fits the ES perimeters. (Same category or higher) Is the "fake booking" picking up a VIFP special offer rate for you specifically like a casino rate?

That may be why you see the lower price doing a "fake booking". Regardless, if it is lower and a carnival advertised price you vacant claim it. If it's not they will let you know.

The fair-viewer will not reflect any of those VIFP special offers, but a fake booking will if you are logged on.

Price drops after final payment results in OBC isn't true all the time.

Ex I have 2 bookings on my CC, 1 of which is Paid in Full, second has a balance yet.

After 1 price drop that booking got OBC, the second price drop on same booking Carnival rep said she couldn't give OBC that the 60.00 would be credited back to my 💳.

The booking with the balance due had been adjusted each time though.

Don’t know why they did it like that. I’ve always gotten OBC after final payment.

Same thing for me they refunded my credit card which was a big pain in the butt because I had already paid that card off so I had to use the card again to get rid of the negative balance
