Does anyone know if there was damage at Labadee?

We are on the Harmony next week with a GS.

I love the suite area on Labadee.

Hope it is still there !

According to the Caribbean Tourist Office, Haiti got out of the storm relatively unscathed. Labadee should be ready for visitors.

I just checked RCCL's website. They are rerouting some of the St. Thomas and St. Martin stops to Labadee, so I'm sure it is fine. They have itinerary changes posted for the next 30 days

Others on Cruise Critic who are Star Class this week are reporting there are no OTW (Over the Water Cabanas) available due to storm damage. Unsure if they are speaking strictly for Barefoot Beach, or if Nellie's Beach is included with that assessment.

 

But overall, Labadee is still open for business, and for that, we are grateful! :D

I've heard that some of the beach cabanas on at least Barefoot Beach have damage. Someone who had one reserved this week received an email from the suite concierge telling them they would have to move to a hilltop one due to the storm damage.

So that is a total of 6 cabanas we are talking about. There are only 2 Beach Cabanas, and 4 OTW cabanas on Barefoot Beach. The rest were all further back from the water line and are fine as far as we know.
