Princess Cay Boogie Boarding?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My 2 boys and I would like to do some boogie boarding in between some snorkeling and general beach time. Is it possible at the cay (i.e., some surf, and will they allow you to)?

Also, should we bother with the hassle of bringing our own boards or do they have them available to rent there (& cost?)?

Thanks in advance,

bp

I have never noticed boogie boards for rent or boogie boarders at Princess Cays. For the most part, there is little surf so the conditions are not ideal.

The snorkeling was pretty good in October 2005 over the coral reef. The best position would be to enter at the rocks designated as the entrance area for snorkelers and swim left toward the reef. If you take fish food in a plastic bag, or cereal from the buffet, your experience will be best - all the little fishies nibble your fingers!
