Options for wine/soda purchase pre-cruise

Hi all--we are sailing out of Miami Nov 11th, staying in a La Quinta by the Miami airport the night before. Since the hotel has a shuttle to the port, we will not have a rental car. What are our options for buying wine and soda to take on board with us? It doesn't appear there's anything close enough to the hotel to walk to. Thanks for the help!

On the evening of your arrival, you could take a taxi or Uber from the hotel to the nearest Publix Supermarket or Walgreens, and ask the driver to wait for you while you quickly shop (not sure if the Uber will wait). There is a Publix on NW 57th Ave, south of Blue Lagoon Dr., and Walgreens is off of NW 37th Ave, just south of NW 11th St. These are the locations that I am aware of, but ask at the hotel front desk for their suggestions.

 

If you'd prefer to shop in the morning, prior to going to the ship, then you can skip the shuttle and do the above, and then have the taxi or Uber take you to the port.
