BillyBones Posted December 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2005 Can anyone recall staying in one of these staterooms on Emerald Deck aft? I seem to remember that they are highly recommended by CruiseCritic members but cannot remember what was said. Previously have only been in a JC on RCCL Radiance as comparison. Input is greatly appreciated.
Marmarjudy Posted December 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2005 We've been there and will only book this mini class on the Grand class ships...been there many times and have another booked. The location is perfect: fully covered balcony, close to elevators up to the buffet, laundromat right down the hall, the wonderful sound of the wake, closest to the sea, etc., etc. Try for E728 or E729 with the "secret" oversized balcony. Others talk about noise bleed from below, but we have never experienced that. You will experience more movement in the back, but now bad....the location is well worth it. We only book E728 or E729 (or equivilant--last stateroom in the back) on a Grand class ship. Any more questions? Judy
BillyBones Posted December 13, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted December 13, 2005 Judy, Thank You for your reply. Have booked E729 for the 03/04 sailing. I'm certain we'll have more questions as the date draws closer; would greatly appreciate being able to stay in touch. Thanks Again BillyBones

Marmarjudy Posted December 14, 2005 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2005 Billybones: Lucky you for snagging that cabin!! Golden so far has been our favorite Grand class ship, although all have been great. You will love it. Feel free to email me @aol.com with any questions.
