MDTrip Posted October 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2017 We are four ladies landing at FLL, one is blind and has a seeing eye dog. I love Uber, but have not used it with my friend and her dog. We need to go to GalleryOne Doubletree for one night before the cruise, and then to the cruise port the next day. Can we bring a seeing-eye dog in an Uber car? Will Uber XL be large enough for us -- four people, one dog and luggage? Thanks.
hawaiissunshine1 Posted October 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2017 Speaking as an Uber Driver, all Uber Drivers are required to accept service animals in their vehicles. If they refuse a service animal, they are basically violating their contract with Uber. You guys should be fine :) And if they refuse the service animal, you can go through the proper channels to have it reported to Uber.

Will four people, a dog and luggage (four checked bags and three carry on) fit in an Uber XL? What type of car is an XL? Like a mini-van? Thanks. FPJC03 Posted October 4, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2017 An UBER XL is like a midsize SUV or minivan. It should hold 4 passengers with luggage. If the wait for an XL is too long, you might be better off getting TWO Uber X cars. I am an Uber driver up in Ohio.
