Mary Ellen1 Posted October 5, 2017 #26 Share Posted October 5, 2017 cliffdroppin365, I think your next decision is whether you want the proposal to be public or private, and proceed from there. What do you think she'd prefer? Lots of good suggestions here... So excited for you! Good luck.
luvtrips Posted October 5, 2017 #27 Share Posted October 5, 2017 We were on the Vista last year and got to watch a great proposal cruise director Matt Mitchum arranged. It was during the "white night" party. Matt made it so special for them. I would contact him. kasil Posted October 5, 2017 #28 Share Posted October 5, 2017 If you want something more private, you could arrange something at one of the specialty restaurants. FWIW, the current cruise director on Vista is Schwartz. I'm sure he would be helpful.
surfjock27 Posted October 6, 2017 #29 Share Posted October 6, 2017 On the Vista last year we saw a guy propose to his girl and it was amazing! It had been planned all week, as he was one of the two Lip Sync Battle contestants. On the last night of the cruise, during the championship show, he came out singing “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. Everyone was so into the performance, including his girl in the front row, that no one put two and two together, until he came down into the crowd, got on his knee and sang the words “hey baby, I think I wanna marry you..” Cue the ring, cue the waterworks. It was beautiful.
