pickypicky Posted October 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2017 We were in Lisbon in June 2017. I'd highly recommend Casa Balthazar. It's listed under B and Bs, but isn't at all what we're used to in that category in the states, so I happened upon it quite by chance. Our suite had a large living room with TV and a separate bedroom with sitting area and French doors that opened onto a tiny balcony with a nice view. It was beautifully decorated and extremely quiet. The baths are huge and ensuite, We had a small butler's pantry with mini-fridge, microwave, and Nespresso machine and pods. Stocked up each day with yogurt, milk, coffee pods and has wine glasses, espresso and coffee cups, etc. There is a small pool in a lovely courtyard, and a beautiful breakfast is brought to your door each morning at your requested time (included). It is away from the traffic and business of downtown. There was a nice leafy square just a block or so away where we ate many lunches and dinners and watched the world of Lisbon go by. Many, many nice restaurants and sites are within easy walking distance. We only took a taxi to the pier. It is all I ever wanted in a hotel, and more. Check it out on TripAdvisor. Great property. Can you tell how long the taxi trip to the pier took? Sent from my iPad using Forums
pickypicky Posted October 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 16, 2017 It was a very short trip. 10 minutes, perhaps?
