MADflyer Posted October 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2017 Malaga has two full service cruise terminals. Taxis normally pull up right next to the baggage drop off and passengers continue in the terminal to the proper check in point. Porters/ carts are available on arrival to the baggage carousels for disembarking passengers. http://www.crucerosmalaga.net/triptico_embarque_desembarque.pdf

MADflyer Posted October 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2017 There are usually some passenger or cruise movements with all cruise calls in Malaga. You will not find Malaga to be a difficult port in any way. There are actually 2 terminals that are right together and taxis just drive to the appropriate ship. The 3rd cruise port is only for the small ship luxury lines that come right into the city center. http://www.crucerosmalaga.net/mapa.php http://www.crucerosmalaga.net/principal.php?idioma=en The port call listing for malaga does not specify terminal. http://www.puertomalaga.com/web/guest/cruceros
RN13 Posted October 15, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Oh I see. So I can Google which port ship will b docking at ahead of time. It is due in Malaga at 0800. A large cruise ship. Close to 140 000 tonnes. Limousine will set us down at terminal entrance. 3 suitcases & 1 of 2 passengers in wheelchair. I could bring a helper. MADflyer Posted October 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted October 15, 2017 A ship of that size will normally be at Terminal A, the first one you come to in the Eastern Dock of Malaga port. As security around the ship and terminal is quite high, there will be ship personnel, a port agent or security staff that will most likely radio for assistance. The terminal will be fully staffed with a ship in port and terminal staff are designated for assistance of mobility impaired passengers. The terminal brochure does have telephone and email contact information.
RN13 Posted November 3, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted November 3, 2017 Hallo. Embarcation in Terminal B went very smoothly. Check in & security control took place right at entrance. A relief. Thanks
