Best time for dinner reservation to make a show?

I want to make reservations for dinner at specialty restaurants, but I want to make sure we'll have time for the shows in the evening.

 

Any recommendations for times, and how long to budget for dinner?

We'll be on the Symphony of the Seas Western European cruise in August 2018 if that helps! :D

If you are a party of two, I'd budget two hours. Add time to get to the venue and another 20 minutes to get there early enough to have good seat selection.

Always inform your waiter that you have a show and tell him/her what time the show starts.
