Ideas for CP times/places for CC cruisers to meet?

Haven't seen this talked about anywhere yet. We're sailing on the CP 7/10/04, and we've just started talking about a place and time to meet the first day. A lot of us are "newbies" to the boards, some even first time cruisers. Anyone have any ideas? We're all arriving at very different times, is meeting after muster good? Places?? Some suggestions have been the aft pool...comments? How do we all know each other? Tags? The same drinks in our hands?

Thanks--have enjoyed learning so much here.

As "designated" Captain of our CP meet and greet (Aug 14th sailing - and yes I was nominated while off the boards for one day...ha ha), I have chosen the top deck (sports deck, deck 17) at the Morgan's Bar/Pirate's view area figuring most people would be at the aft or lido deck pools. We are meeting after Muster drill - approx 4:30 pm.

We are still working on the "secret handshake" (hey that's brilliant!! why didn't I think of that before?). One option is we all wear a specific, easily identifiable color (for some reason most of the guys in my group are refusing to agree to wear pink - party poopers I say!)...or a specific colored ribbon/string around your wrist!

Other suggestion is meeting at Skywalkers which I understand is usually empty during the day or the Wheelhouse Bar (but that's inside and you don't want to miss being on deck at Sailaway).

Good luck, have fun and let us know how it works out when you get back!

Toto - watch out now....I'll have to take those red ruby slippers away and send you back to Kansas (luckily I am still here and able to defend myself from further supplementary nominations..ha ha ha).

Captain Froufie at your service!

Our group met up at 9pm on night one at the starboard hot tub Calypso Pool and Bar. AkaWanda and I arrived a little early and were wearing red clown noses......you might say we were easy to spot..........

This thread got lost in the shuffle yesterday. Some people in our group want to meet around 3 or 3:30? What time is muster drill on the CP?

Catmand--the red noses are a great idea, maybe I'll get some at a party store, that way we'd always recognize each other the rest of the cruise. (Oh, we're not supposed to use superglue?)

Thanks for the replies so far.
