Gypsywych Posted October 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2017 Kind of an odd question, but if I book through my PVP and then just make my payments online instead of calling him/her, does the PVP still get the commission?

The PVP has your reservation as "theirs" once you book with them... you can pay on-line yourself and do not have to call them. I make all my payments on-line, saves me time and them too... they love people like us who just call for that original booking and we do all the rest ;)

OMG... you must find a new one then. My guy never calls me and bugs me, and when I call him he is Johnny on the Spot and takes care of everything for me and will even just sit and chat up about cruise stuff and suggestions. I LOVE HIM! Used to do everything myself and then I found him. When I have had issues he has stepped in and was like "Oh NO, you are going to do this for her! lol!" Don't settle, find a better one! Thanks!! PVP that does not return your calls or emails is useless. Ask a cruising friend for recommendation, lots of good ones out there

winddawn Posted October 26, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 26, 2017 PVPs don't just get credit for making bookings. They also get credit for customer service. My PVP books my free casino offer cruises for me and doesn't get credit for that since they're free cruises, but she did tell me she gets credit for providing customer service. I inquired because I did not want to burden her for making my free bookings if she doesn't get credit for them since they're freebies, but she assured me she still gets customer service credit. It sounds like your PVP isn't interested in customer service credit. And it sounds like you need a new PVP.

tandemcruzr Posted October 28, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 28, 2017 You don't have to call. That wasn't the question. Read the OP's post again.
