Cruise before dry dock

We are seriously considering a Journey cruise on the Legend from Hawaii April 20, 2018. We are concerned this is the last cruise before dry dock and service will thus suffer. Also I've heard reports of work starting in the cruise before dry dock. This is a very unique itinerary that we love.

We're concerned the service will be bad or ship will be under construction. Any advice? Should we just do it?

Been on a few before and after dry dock cruise's Some had entire floors /decks blocked off and the noise can be deafening at times. You may even have nonfunctional pools .

If you do decide to go ahead with it check with you PVP or Carnival and make sure your room is not near anything under maintenance . Even if you have to avoid certain areas you can still have an enjoyable cruise. But honestly Carnival should sell those cruise's at a reduced rate.
