Bidding On Cabin Upgrade But In Handicap Cabin?

When I logged in to my NCL account I see that they are offering us the chance to bid on an upgrade. We are in a handicap cabin and I was wondering if I put in a bid would they upgrade us to another handicap cabin? I would not want to put in a bid if the cabin was not a handicap cabin that we would get.

Nope, no guarantee that upgrade would be to accessible cabin.

Even if they say they can help, and you need the HC cabin.... I would leave it alone.

 

Edit to include my reasoning. Even is they say they can flag your bid, but somebody or something screws it up and gives you a regular cabin. Sure you could call back in and ask them to fix it, but if they have ZERO HC cabins still available, nobody can fix it unless them bump somebody else out of their cabin. Right?

Haven staterooms are spacious enough for HC use, but the restrooms won’t be HC-friendly. I’d leave it alone as well.
