Splendour ? for anyone having done the 4 nighter

We are doing the doc dance since they arrived via USPS today. We booked last week with a last minute hot deal, so not too bad. We have sailed several times, but these ?s are for Splendour sailing for 4 night:

 

1. Was there a wine package available?

2. Were the soda cards $6 a day for the cruise?

3. What night was the formal night?

4. When we cruise on a 4 night on the Radiance I think I remember that there was no lobster - is that correct?

Just came back last week - this is what I can contribute.

2. Were the soda cards $6 a day for the cruise? paid $6/day for my child - adult price was higher - not sure how much more

3. What night was the formal night? first night at sea (2nd night)

My family is to sail her on March 13, 06. Do you have pics of her? I would greatly appreciate it. We are staying in JS. I understand she is a beautiful ship?!

Does the Splendour have safes in the oceanview rooms?

 

Does the Splendour have the movies by the pool on the big screen?

They did have lobster on our 5-night last week. There are safes in the rooms, no big screen movies except when we were in Costa Maya and could watch it on the Carnival ship!

Pearland Cruisers, how does the Splendour compare to the Rhapsody as far as the mix of people and the friendliness?

We're going 1/16 and I can't wait! What are you planning to do in Coz?

Leaving next Monday. I will be fishing in Coz while the wife helps out the local economy in the shops.

We sailed on the Splendour during the Thanksgiving weekend for the first time and it was OK, for the most part. I didn't feel she was quite as friendly as the Rhapsody, but I think it would be hard to beat the way you are treated on that ship. We have never had to stand in a line for the dining room or any where else, but we did on the Splendour. Maybe it was a staffing problem... Of course if somone said I could sail on her tomorrow, I certainly wouldn't turn it down.

And yes, she is a beautiful ship.
