Tampa cruise port/hotel questions

We're sailing on the Brilliance Feb. 8th. We've never sailed out of Tampa before. Which terminal will we leave from? Any recommendations on nearby hotels, preferably either SPG or Marriott brand (have points to use)? We're flying in late, so just looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep and maybe somewhere with a free breakfast! Thanks!

Tampa Marriott Waterside is just down the street from the cruise port. Maybe 1/2 mile or less.

Brilliance normally uses Terminal 3, but it can vary. We've used the Courtyard Marriott downtown and found it a nice property.

Thanks for the suggestions! Would love to stay at the Waterside Marriott but don’t want the nearly $500/night price tag since we won’t be there long enough to really enjoy it! I’ll look into the Courtyard.

The Courtyard usually has a cruise package. If you decide you don't want the cruise package, a taxi to the port is a flat rate $6 per person.
