Hi. Yesterday my group of 4 received emails to upgrade our connecting Deluxe Oceanview rooms to balcony rooms for $170 per room for our January cruise. We originally wanted to book balcony rooms but they were considerably more when we made our reservations. We acted quickly and found 2 rooms next to each other (not connecting) on Deck 6 midship.

I am now concerned that there may be a lot of noise in the room and/or smoke on the balcony. We’re right above Guys Pig & Anchor BBQ Smokehouse. I also don’t know what the blank space is across from our rooms. Is the smoking section directly below on Deck 5?

Thanks in advance.

A balcony anywhere is always better then an OV, enjoy!

The problem we had on the Dream last year was the noise from the hot tubs below our balcony, and smoke smell from the smoking area. We booked way aft on Magic for this year's cruise leaving on Dec. 16th. Will see how that works out.
