Taxi or limo from port of Miami to FLL

Are there always taxis at the Port? Trying to get to the airport asap and fly standby since we have an afternoon flight. Would I be better off calling a limo co? But I never know what time we are off the ship. I understand the taxi cost is around $80. I would assume limo would be around $100. We have 2 adults and 1 child. Thanks.

Yes, there will be a plethora of taxis at the port waiting for fares

Not nescessarily, they sometimes have trouble finding you or you finding them with all the crowds. If your in a hurry, this may or may not slow you down.

 

But I never know what time we are off the ship.

You can make arrangements to be one of the first off the ship. This is where a cell phone comes in real handy if your taking a limo. You can call the limo and tell him you are leaving the ship and to meet you right out front.

If it were me, I'd opt for a taxi. They're readily available and ready to go when you are. ;)
