Toiletries supplied?

Here's a question I've never seen addressed. Does the Majesty of the Seas (or any other ship) supply toiletries like shampoo, soap, etc., or do we have to bring our own? We're leaving tomorrow (Friday) for our first cruise and I'm not sure what to pack. Thanks!

They will supply you with the standard "hotel style" soap, i.e. the 2.5 x 1.5 (approx.) bars. There will also be a shampoo dispenser in the shower. As long as you're not too particular as to the type of soap or shampoo you use, you won't need to bring your own.

Speaking of the showers, they are small, very small. The old joke is that the best way to clean yourself is to lather the walls and then turn around a few times (making sure not to knock the shampoo dispenser off). Of course, then there's the matter of the attacking shower curtain ...

We were in an E1 on the Jewel this past Oct and the shower had a curved door. Same as on the D1 on the Brilliance in Sept, 2002. However, I was on the Majesty of the Seas in May, 2004 and the shower had a curtain.

JSs and above are given additional toiletries (better shampoo and seperate conditioner), lotion, lip balm, one of the those body scrubbers, Q-tips, Cotton balls and a shower cap.

The bathrooms in JSs and above include a regular shower/tub so they do have a curtain. They also have a clothes line so bring some clips so you can hang up your wet swimsuits. :)

Had the same thing on the Navigator last week. Plenty of items given so that you do not need anything at all.
