Internet while docked at the Pan American pier?

On boarding day I was wondering if we would have wifi? Not the ships internet but picked up from the pier.

Probably not . On board the WiFi signal pretty well blocks all other sources. Many WiFi signals don't have a great range. With all the steel of the ship the signal os higher reduced in distance. If your balcony or a deck chair is in the right place you might get a marginal signal depending how far away the signal source is. Thats my personal experience after working in the radio communications business for 40+ years.
