Ship tour to Klein Bonaire

If we book the Holland America Water Taxi Tour to Klein Bonaire, does it depart closer to the ship than it would if we were to walk and find our own water taxi there? I am hoping to find out which water taxi will get us there with the least amount of walking.....traveling with older parents. Thank you .
