Ramada Cruise port FLL

It's NOT a nice place and ABSOLUTELY NOT A CLEAN AND SAFE AREA!!! It's also a long way from the port and airport, and there's also nothing to walk to from there, not that you would want to though as it's in a bad neighborhood that's downright dangerous to be out in at night!

If you're looking for a budget hotel go with one of these below. They're in a nice, clean, SAFE neighborhood less than 10 minutes from the airport, just outside the entrance to the port, with dozens of restaurants, shops, grocery, drug & liquor stores as well as the very popular Water Taxi all within safe, easy walking distance...

Holiday Inn Express "Convention Center"... http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/1/en/hd/fllcc

Extended Stay America... http://www.extendedstayamerica.com/hotels/fort-lauderdale-convention-center-marina.html

AmeriSuites... http://amerisuites.com/reservations/locationdetail.asp?facid=3929

AmeriSuites is cheaper on Valuetrips... http://www.valuetrips.com/AMS/FL/F17.htm

We stayed there 2 years ago to put it simply it was "gross"! We had to take a can to McDonalds, my husband got approached by a "working girl", the linens were damp and musty and the bathroom toilet was clogged constantly, we are trying amerisuites in March and feel there was nowhere to go but up after the ramada!

Yep, that's a common State Road 84 "problem", and just one of the many reasons I always tell people to avoid ALL of the State Road 84 motels... SE 17th Street is a much MUCH better and safer area.
