the Crown and Anchor membership is where you get credits for the number of cruises you've taken on RCI, and get discounts, gifts, etc. that varies from each level.

S

The best source for specific details, and to sign up, is on teh RCCL website under Crown and Anchor.

Not sure why you wouldn't go to http://www.rccl.com first, but now that you are here:

You get Gold with 1 completed cruise, Platinum after 5, Diamond after 10 and Diamond plus after 24.

Click here to see all the benefits....

But, IMHO, the "real benefits" are :

Gold: discount coupons while on board, and a nice "welcome back" reception with free booze

Platinum: above, plus better coupons, Platinum only event while on board, and use of the departure lounge (this is marginal benefit depending on what port and when you arrive)

Diamond: above, plus use of the concierge lounge onboard, even if you are not booked in a suite, and extensive feet kissing by staff and crew.

Diamond Plus: all of the above and treatment like you own the ship. Given the amount of money you have spent on Royal Caribbean all these years, you probably DO own a ship by now!

While you are on your first cruise, sign up for the Crown & Anchor Society. That first cruise will count as one credit towards your C&A membership. Each cruise you take you will earn 1 credit, plus 1 credit if you stay in a Junior Suite or higher, plus 1 credit if the cruise is 12 nights or longer. The number of credits you have determines the level of your C&A membership. You start out at the Gold level. After you've earned 5 cruise credits, you move to platinum. After 10, you move to Diamond. After 24, you move to Diamond Plus.

At each bump in level you get a bump in benefits, but you start getting benefits at the gold level. Perks include coupons for cruises, coupons for use on board, once you reach Platinum, priority boarding, and additional discounts on certain staterooms, Diamond, you gain access to the Concierge lounge on ships that have it. There's more than that but that's the highlights that I remember.
