What specialty restaurants will AotS have? I know it will have:

 

Giovanni's Table- Modern Italian

Chops Grill- American Steakhouse

Supposedly Izumi is going onto the Royal Promenade in place of the sports bar.

The first cruise after drydock is now Feb 12. Hopefully this drydock goes as planned. I will let everyone know how she looks on the 12th.

We are sailing on her starting the 12th also. I’m really hoping since this is just a continuation of the interrupted dry dock in 2016, they will be all done by the time we set sail! :). Does anyone know if they will be upgrading carpet and decor in all cabins?

That has not been announced, though they will probably replace as necessaey.

We're cruising on Feb 24 and am also looking forward to reports from the dry dock.

I will attempt to post pictures showing anything new/replaced I find. Many of us are hoping that the staterooms will be renovated.

 

There may be a delay in posting pics depending on cell and internet service.

While I'm not Bob....I can answer at least one part of your question......

 

They are doing away with the Concierge Lounge on deck 9 and adding 4 inside cabins there. RCI is converting a room (rooms) in the Viking Crown Lounge (Maybe the old 7 Hearts) to the new Suite Lounge.

I was hoping for a Sabor, but I think that based on what everyone has said, it will be an Izumi. I booked the Feb 12th cruise before I realized that it was the first sailing after dry dock. I hope there are no major issues.

I’m wondering if Adventure will also get the new RC app upgrade with this dry dock. RC has indicated over half the fleet will get app access in 2018. Why not do it during a scheduled dry dock?? 🤞:)

I spoke with a RCL t/a two days ago and i asked what is the refit, he said that it will include new carpeting, bedding and linens.
