San Juan hoping someone can help with airport transfers :)

Hello we are looking to cruise out of San Juan we will arrive early at the airport and sail out later Could anyone please tell me are transfers offered for our luggage? My husband has spine issues and really cant lift a lot so getting luggage to and from the airport to the cruise port would be a problem. I am trying to find out is such a service is in place or do we have to take our luggage around with us all day till we depart? How far is the airport to the cruise ship?

If you are getting the transfers through the cruise line, the driver will load and unload the luggage from the bus. You will need to get them to the bus from the baggage claim area, but there are carts or skycaps to help with that. At the cruise terminal, they are usually unloaded where the ship's porters will pick them up (and deliver them to your room). Your husband's lifting should be minimal.

In re-reading your OP, I get the impression you want your luggage transferred to the ship, but not you and your husband. If that is the case, please ignore my response! ;p
