Can you leave luggage on ship at Southampton and pick it up in Sydney where a cruise starts and returns back to the uk?

Can you leave luggage on ship at Southampton and pick it up in Sydney where a cruise starts and returns back to the uk?

 

We arranged for luggage to be uplifted by courier from our home address and sent to Southampton to be placed onboard the ship in Southampton on 3rd January. We embarked Oriana in February and luggage was waiting in our cabin when we embarked the ship in Sydney, We disembarked in Singapore 14 days later. Our luggage stayed onboard till the ship returned to Southampton late March.We also arranged through PandO to transport our luggage back to Scotland by courier. Hope this is of some help.
