New Years Eve cruise on the Epic - what kinds of parties should we expect?

We are thinking about booking a NYE cruise on the Epic this upcoming December. What kinds of parties are on the Epic? Specifically, do they have a fun pool party? Is there a NYE party outdoors?

There were parties in all the major venues on the ship, including Spice H2O and a balloon drop in the atrium. We missed them all, as we fell asleep at 9pm that night!

Just off the New Years Epic cruise and we celebrated the countdown on the pool deck listening to a live band. The deck area was packed with people. They did hand out glasses of free champagne to everyone that was there.
